Large Wooden Nativity Set in a Case

This handcrafted set consists of approximately 80 figurines, including animals. The figurines are carved in linden wood; the rest of the carvings, including the houses, are sculpted out of alder. These exceptionally carved figures depict dramatic scenes chosen from every-day life 2000 years ago. The windows are made of mica, which allows them to be lit up from within, with a minimum of adjustments. There are several angels that hang from the case which they are a part of. We can expand the nativity set by adding more pieces if the buyer wishes to. This nativity set is in the Czech Republic now. If it doesn’t get sold, it will become a commemoration of the Czech Republic.
